Come St. Patrick’s Day, will you be celebrating your heritage, or just channeling the luck of the Irish? No matter what your plans are, the only place to celebrate the holiday is at the Baltimore St. Patrick’s Day Parade and 5K. Block off Sunday, March 15 for a full day’s worth of festivities. Start off at the Shamrock 5K Race at 1 p.m., and take a short fun run through the streets of downtown to earn an extra glass of green beer later. Then the parade starts immediately afterwards at 2 p.m., and proceeds from the Washington Monument down Charles and Pratt Streets to Market Place.
